Superbowl Sunday Will Be Packed With Movie Ads

There’s a little more than 2 weeks remaining until Superbowl XLV and while the teams have not yet been decided (let’s go Jets!) Hollywood is gearing up to bombard the Superbowl with commercials and trailers for the upcoming summer movie season.

Here is a list so far of what the studios have lined up for the Superbowl.

PARAMOUNT:

J.J. Abrams’ Super 8

Transformers: The Dark Side Of The Moon

Rango Starring Johnny Depp as a CGI Chameleon

Marvel Entertainment’s Thor

Marvel Entertainment’s Captain America: The First Avenger

DISNEY

Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Universal and Dreamworks

Cowboys and Aliens starring Daniel Craig & Harrison Ford

Relativity Media

Limitless starring Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro

30 second ads for the Superbowl cost 3 million dollars per spot but it’s well worth it as over 100 million viewers tune into the Superbowl.

Olivia Wilde Casted In Welcome to People

Olivia Wilde is becoming of Hollywood’s most in demand young actresses.  Hot off Tron Legacy comes news that Wilde has been casted in Alex Kurtzman’s Welcome To The People.  Risky Biz reports that Wilde’s part is a pivotal role in the drama.

Wilde will be seen in this summers expected blockbuster Cowboys And Aliens alongside Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford as well as the sci-fi film Now in which she will play Justin Timberlake’s mother.

Welcome to People is the first film from Alex Kurtzman, the writer of the Star Trek reboot that was a smash hit!

I like Wilde’s work a lot and this is great news for the young and talented actress.
