Mia Wasikowska And Vera Farmiga To Enjoy A View From The Bridge

An adaptation of Arthur Miller’s 1955 play A View From The Bridge directed by Robert Connolly is getting ready to go into production.

Variety reports Vera Farmiga and Mia Wasikowska will join Anthony LaPaglia, Sam Neil and Sebastian Stan in the adaptation to be directed by Robert Connolly.

LaPaglia  will reprise his role of Eddie Carbone from the 1998 Broadway production.

The story is about Eddie Carbone who agrees to take in his wife’s cousins. They are illegal immigrants who are seeking refuge in New York. Trouble begins when his wife’s niece who they’ve raised since childhood is attracted to Rodolpho, one of the immigrants. Jealousy rears its ugly head and ends in tragedy.

Farmiga will play Eddie’s wife Beatrice while Wasikowska will play their niece Catherine. Production begins in June.
