Hillary Swank is a 2 time Oscar winner but her newest film The Resident is bypassing theaters and going straight to DVD. That does not sound too good.
The Resident was made by Hammer Films and is the first new Hammer Film production to cast Christopher Lee. For those that don’t know Christopher Lee was in many of Hammer Film movies back in the 60’s and 70’s.
Also starring alongside Swank is Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Watchmen, The Losers).
The story is about a new resident (Hillary Swank) in an apartment in New York City who’s being stalked by her obsessive, creepy landlord (Morgan).

The movie looks ok, nothing really special. It feels like we’ve seen it before but just because it’s a Hammer Release and Christopher Lee is in it I will be checking this movie out.
